“Adair!” Luki and Rayner yelled out as they helplessly watched Adair’s body descend into the lake.
The tortoise-like creature cried in agony its left eye bled uncontrollably. It stomped around in a rampage, grabbing onto its last bits of life. It engrained footprints into the damaged ground before it tipped over on its side. The creature wailed one last time before it stopped breathing. Little balls of light started appearing around it as it disappeared. Its body was disintegrating into particles of Runas.
“Rayner, hold these.” The Kinosian handed over the seeds and leaves he caught earlier over to Rayner

After arriving in the small fishing village of Hena, the group of men encountered a predicament. The village's residents had been struck by a sickness with some degrees of the sickness being worse than others. Adair began experiencing the first symptoms of the illness, or at least it seemed like it. Rayner, the only person knowledgeable enough, accredited the sickness to a toxication in the air and water. The three headed to the source of the toxication: the lake.
"Achoo!" Adair rubbed his nose with Rayner's handkerchief after sneezing. His nose felt even stuffier than earlier.

It had been a few days since Adair and Luki left Selfinine, with Rayner accompanying the two. Adair was stressed because of the constant bickering between the other two.
